Just bought my new truck today, my first 12th gen. I have a '01 SD (for sale) and a '66 F-250 now, have previously owned a '62, '64, two '65s, another '66, '79, '95, and an '04. I'm definitely a Ford Truck guy, and I'm loving this new EcoBoost. It will replace my wife's '07 Mountaineer (traded in) and my '01 F-250 V-10. This truck can be the family wagon and camper hauler. Big smiles today!
Congrats! Nice sled! I was impressed with the leg room over the other crew cab trucks I had previously.
You're not kidding. I thought the cab in my Super Duty was huge... there is an insane amount of room in both the front and rear of this SuperCrew. My 3 kids will appreciate it.
sweet i love the leg room as well! you got the longer box did you get max tow or enything else for the camper towing?
Yes, I did get the max tow package, it was required because I will be pulling a 10,500 lb. toy hauler a few times per year, in the mountains. This will replace my 2001 F-250 V-10. Only other option was the XLT convenience package.
I feel like I'm talking to myself, I'm another who has a real fondness for the "slicks" I still have a 62' uni, but had 2-66's, 65' and a 64', plus a couple of 70's, 78's. I must say I do like my 12', I opted for the 5.0 and HD payload XL barebones special. Congrats on your purchase.
