fuel delivery issue
For some time now I have been having a problem at start up where the motor will start and die of fuel starvation then require a lot of cranking to get fuel back to the motor . It has cost me a starter and we replaced the Pollack valve when we determined that it wasn't functioning properly . The condition persisted and we found a broken hose clamp on the new valve installation but failed to cure the bleed down of fuel . In what I thought was a stroke of genius , my buddy installed a boat tank squeeze bulb primer with check valve ahead of the pollack valve and was able to start the van 3 mornings in a row over the weekend after it sat all day . I drove the van home last night and this morning it was the same problem all over , fires up , dies and has to be primed with the squeeze bulb . Can anyone suggest where my leak down might be occurring ?
