Hello everyone, soo i have a 1991 f350 i just bought me some 3" wheel spacers for my truck, also some 8x6.5 rims for it too. When i went to install the wheels i noticed that the threads from studs where a different size then the studs on the wheel spacers. Also the Lug nuts on the original studs wont fit down the shute on my wheel spacers. So my question is, what size threads are on my hubs? and im hoping i can find smaller lug nuts to bolt my wheel spacers on. Thanks for the help fte.
when i bought the wheel spacers they were 8x6.5 to 8x6.5. bolt patterns, and the lug size was 9/16 to 9/16 . I'll check both lug nuts to see if they say the size on the side. The new lug nuts seem a little too small, the thread pattern looks close to the same.

If you absolutely NEED spacers, you need to get ones that fit correctly before you kill yourself or someone else!!!!
It would be MUCH safer to buy the correct wheels in the first place... Looks are not everything!!!!!!!
the wheels bolt pattern and the wheel spacers are the same bolt pattern, my issue is just with the lug nut thread difference between the two. Thats why im here trying to clearify everything so everything is installed correctly.
that sounds right cuz the lug nuts are huge! but what are the thread size? is it a metric or a standard thread if that makes sense?
Standard 9/16-18. If it was metric it would be like 10mm. There is a possibility your wheel adapters are metric threaded. Why did you get wheel adapters?
Good luck man! Once I bought mine, I found out that I had two different types of lug studs on mine, and the guy before had split some lug nuts forcing them on. He had mixed Shank and cone nuts. It has Mag wheels so I couldn't see the split until the Shank nuts were off. Two full sets of lug studs and nuts later I got the wheels back on.
