Odometer stop
Hi i am new here and new to ford vehicles!! I recent purchased a 2006 lincoln navigator limited edition and am wonderin if there is a way that the odometer can b stopped to hide actual mileage? I am not looking to do this!! As i said i am new to ford i was a gm guy b4 and know of a wire on the instument panel that could b cut and a switch put in and with the flip of a switch literally the odometer would stop climbing, so now to my point, with the knowledge of this i know to look for it when purchasing a gm vehicle, and am wondering if there any such thing with ford vehicles i can look for to see if this was done to my navigator. So im guessin thats a no?? So the mileage that is displayed should b the actual mileage. And ford does not have a way to cheat the odometer?? Ok thanx i kinda felt like i may have been taken for a ride with buyin a ford vehicle since i got my navigator for less than 10 thousand
