this was eye opening to me, how many people traded their '09 trucks on an F-150. i thought it was interesting so i thought I'd post it here.
YTd July 2008 was 42,855.

GM is higher simply because, amongst all GM brands, they had more nameplates to offer than Ford and Ford was severely constrained in their inventory on the models they did have (Focus, Fusion, Escape). GM had more inventory because they had their junk not selling before the program started.
More incentives by GM vs those offered by Ford is not the reason.
Of course, final number will be different.
