I have a 2004 6.0..i put some bad fuel in it from work i work at a fuel company and i put it in this morning before i went dove hunting and i got about 2 miles away and it cut off..i drained the diesel out and drained the fuel filter on the bottom and tried and it cranks and runs for about 4 sec thats about it..it drained my batteries doing it also....is there a easier way to get the fuel out of the lines..thats the only thing i can thing of..its killing my starter..
new fuel has made no change...even with treatment in it..a guy to me it could be the power pack...anybody know why it would judt quit going down the road
best reason it would quit going down the road is well bad fuel still in the lines. it takes for ever to get it out. also could have damaged pump and or injectors too with it too.
