I am not in need yet. Just doing some looking into.
Has anyone used the NorthStar Battery? (Made in the USA)

I went to there web site and sounds like they are the sh-t . And the OP's i hear they are not all that anymore .

I have the Sears Diehard Platinum's and they are GREAT !
Same specks as those.
You might want to look at them.

The constant RECHARGING will shorten the life of the battery and prob will NOT be warrantied!

Deep Cycle batteries are meant to be drained to approx. 1/2 and THEN recharged and not constantly hooked to the the alternator like a regular auto battery. Think using it on a boat where it is used for a trolling motor or an RV powering the RV over a weekend THEN charging.

I would verify that the CCA listed is actual cold cranking amps and not MCA... Marine cranking amps which is just normal cranking amps in a starting battery.

If you're running accessories with the engine off a marine or deep cycle is fine, but they do not usually have to "oomph" needed to crank over engines in the dead of winter like a starting battery.

Northstar Batteries - AGM Northstar battery products for all uses.

When I asked for a set for a 6.0L diesel at Batteries Plus
this is the one they recommended over the Optima YellowTop. They sell both.
I was told that the engineers from Optima left and started
there own line and this is there answer to the Yellow Top.
I know that this was a salesman talking even if he is a
car battery specialist. So Tuesday I will give them a call and
get some info from the horses mouth.

Maybe the Optima guy will chime in on this.

Both options are $$$$ and then add a new DC Power alternator

some big $$$
In the past I have had good luck with Ford and Sears batteries.
I just keep them clean. filled and charged. They will treat you well.

Still unsure why you're stuck on the Marine battery. The standard battery is far superior with more cold cranking amps, more reserve, more capacity.
