That is really best way to go on a compound curved panel unless you are comfortable with forming sheet metal and/or want to learn. It is possible to shape a lot of panels with a sandbag a few hammers and dollies and a shrinker/stretcher. You can even do shrinking and stretching by hand but it takes a lot more time and practice tan using the machine and they aren't that expensive.
