You can post the site! However, if the online store sells it just refer a user there.
If the store does not carry it, then let others know what site you are referring to. If it is a blocked site then a bunch of these #### will show up.
i ordered the xlt stickers off of that site, but they are the ones for the f-150. they are not the same as the 250/350 ones. but ill give them a try and see how they look.

I sawed mine off with braided fishing line. It worked great! My XLT did come off. But I ordered new ones for it and it looks like the original. You can check out my pics on my gallery page.
I read an earlier post, ( a few months ago) a guy used 3 layers of 3" masking tape and on the last layer he added a trash bag under the emblems so all the gooooy stuff would go right into the trash bag.
Hope this helps.
I also heard not all emblems are doable. Any input on that????
My production date is 6/98.
Thanks
Boy I don't get it. I tried to do mine and it was way too much of a pain I think. I had it all bagged up as this shows.
Well I started in with the brake cleaner with acetone in it and it started splashing around a bit and I think it was getting on the paint so I chickened out and fired up the hose and hosed the whole thing down.
The problem I was having is that the brake cleaner was evaporating so fast I had to keep hosing it down. Were you guys spraying it on or soaking something then rubbing? It sounds like I've heard both.
Anyway I think the emblems are coming off if I ever do this mod. I'm too chicken
What did you use? Brake cleaner? I tried wiping it some but got scared that I was going to screw it up and not wanting to have 1 emblem with the paint gone I stopped.
You masked around it and then just kept wiping at it until you got it all off? It seems like there are spots you couldn't even get with q-tips.
I used straight scetone from Home despot. I made sure that there was enough acetone in the ball to run into the crevice but not out and down the side. You kind of have to pinch the ends of the q-tip to reach some of the tight spots. If you rinse the tighty's in that way a few times they come clean.I taped the s*** out of the bottom and around the sides , too cause I was so chicken of getting it on the ppaint. By the second one I was a pro.
I used acetone as well and applied it with a toothbrush it worked really well. I taped the heck out of it and used a 3mil plastic to drape on the remainder of the paint below the emblem. I have pics of the tape job in my gallery as well as the finish product.

Yeah that still scares me too much. I think I'm gonna take the emblems off. I've seen where a heat gun and some fishing line will take them off. The question is does the double sided tape stay on the truck and you re-use it or do you have to put new on? I think I might just go buy new emblems from a junkyard and do them. Then just put them on the truck.
It just seems like the acetone could soak through the masking tape. Is that stuff water(Acetone)proof? If so maybe I'll try again.
I used blue painters tape which will withstand acetone but I also used about three layers. You can also use green painters laquer tapre which will work about the same.
