Rmike, don't do it. I just took mine off friday night. Had too cause I "had" the old type. Ruined em. New ones came In and the old ones are VER MUCH a PITA to get off. I don't know if anybody has used em after takin em off. But mine came off in about three pieces. Only the F250's came in Friday. The V10's will be here monday. $15 for the V10, $20 for the F250's. Gonna order the tailgate one Monday. Now i need stickers. I tried to save em. And u can if u use brake cleaner. The acetone is just too strong i think. They do look sweet though. Big ole pice of shiny chrome!

I know if u do just a couple quick swipes u can keep em. But as u wipe more and more pressure they do come off. They are sticker over the black coating. I did the whole badge except for the XLT and then if u do them real quick only the black will come off around em. I wanted the black coating off underneath and go w/ new stickers.

I haven't yet. I've seen a site previously posted here I think. It was a while ago though. I was going to do a search or maybe somebody had it on hand.

Tell me about it. My powerstroke badge looks wicked. Plus my truck is black and lifted. Talk about getting looks. People stop me every day wanting to ask about it.

Hey Guys,

I just did mine too and had to get the new stickers. I ordered then from Kustom Kreations and am very happy. I emailed that they would be for a 250 and she knew that they were different than the 150's. I had mine color matched to my truck(deep blue metallic) and they came out real nice. I think they were only $4.50 for the pair.

Thanks Pete! U say u ordered by email? And I got the V10's this morning. Ordered the tailgate one while I was there. These V10's are larger than those stinkin V10 plastic stickers. And much thicker! Acetoned and installed one at lunch. Fender looks sweeeet!

I actually ordered online and then Kustom Kreations emailed me to make sure about the difference between the 150's and 250's.

They didn't reply to my e-mail. I'll just oder by phone and specify F250 then. Thanks Pete. I ordered the tailgate one Monday and I think its different than the one I have now. It seems to have the "Super Duty" under the F250. The one I have now doesn't.

If it has the spot for the trim level sticker then it's a fender badge I think. I've been doing quite a bit of research into this and I was going to put f550 emblems on my truck as a kinda joke since it's bigger than stock and figured out there are no f550 tailgate badges since there are no f550's with tailgates.

Anyway I went to the local body shop to see how much they'd charge me to pull my emblems off and then put them back on. The guy there told me he'd do it for $25! Well worth it I think since I'm deathly afraid of screwing up my truck

Well he then proceeded to ask me why in the world I would want to take my badges off and put them right back on the next day and I explained to him what I wanted to do. He said he'd do them for me (paint remover[acetone]) and just put them back on that day.

I asked him what he thought about the f550 dilemma and he said to just put a fender emblem on the tailgate and pointed out to me a f250 sitting right beside us with the fender emblem on the tailgate. I hadn't even noticed.

Anyway I'm gonna skip the f550 deal right now because it's not worth the 100 bones to me to be funny but maybe when I get a raise

The dealer had a picture for each badge. When he looked up tailgate and the picture thats what came up. And doesn't the tailgate have like a part cut out right under the F in F250. Unlike the fender one. HUGE!
