Just moved into a new house just outside of town and just outside of cell service. Texts work ok but you really can't make a phone call unless you're in just the right spot. Does anyone know of some sort of device I can maybe plug into my landline or internet or something to make my phone work at my house? Or even some sort of repeater that would increase the weak signal that I get from the cell tower?
I have Sprint and wasn't getting good reception in my house.. They have a device called the Airave.. It connects to my internet and gives me full signal in the house
Depends on the provider. Some have internet based options, or you can use a repeater that consists of an outside antenna, amplifier, and internal antenna.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of one of these setups? I feel like that's more reliable and the internet version. Also I'm just outside of service, sometime the phone works alittle inside. I'm sure if I was standing on my roof it would work fine.
I live in an area like you. I went with verizon, and for the most part, the service is good anywhere on the property. When I had at&t. I had to stand on one leg,on the porch, and jump up and down to maybe get service
The wilson booster is what i was going to go with. I lost a couple bids on ebay for some good sets. They seem to have great reviews and are not too hard to set up.
We had the same problem when we had our house built. We live way out in the country. no sewer, no street lights, no people, no crime, and no cell service.
Since we have Verizon, my wife and called them and explained the situation. They offered a device that connects to your internet service (we do have cable internet out here) for $180 that they said would improve service. My wife reminded them that we have been loyal Verizon customer for over ten years and we have four phones with them. They sent us one for free.
While it's not perfect, our cell servive is much better than it was when we first moved here. If the internet goes down, you can tell the difference right away.
If you need pics of the unit or other info hit me up.
