Is there by chance any sort of a body lift that will work on a 2wd F250? All the ones I've been finding online say they won't work with trucks that have steering box close to the firewall, which is what all 2wd truck have (right?). The main reason I'm looking is so I can fit larger tires when it comes time to replace the ones I have (can't find any under 35" that fit a 16.5 wheel).

BFG makes a 33" tire in 16.5's....it's the All Terrain T/A KO
A body lift will work on a 2x but it takes a little more work, Your going to need to drop the front of the steering column and change out the rag joint to a U joint type.
Maybe put in some new untired springs in the front?
Springs were replaced by the p.o a few years back.

Ideally I'd go with a suspension lift. But the Autofab 3 inch econo lift is $800

What about making a bracket to move the box up 2 inches, then putting a spacer in between the pitman arm and the steering gear?
