Hey, I have a 1999 F-250 ext. cab long box 4x4. I started out looking for tires now I am thinking about a body lift to fit even bigger tires and rims lol.
so anyway im in college have a limited budget and i want a decent body lift like 3"-4" maybe I don't go off roading to much just in a few fields, more of a daily driver. What is my best bet for looking into and would i be able to do it in weekend with the help of one other person?
Do not click buy it now......I made them an offer for 60.00 and they took it. They are somewhere in the mail now. So You may be able to get them cheaper,if thats the way you decide to go. And welcome to FTE
Front: Jack up your truck by the frame until the tires ALMOST come off the ground... Unbolt the old ones put one or two pumps on jack line up new ones and bolt them on. let truck down...
Back: Jack up truck by reciever hitch lower onto two jack stand. put jack under rear diff. and jack up untill weight is taken off tires. Unbolt center pins in leaf pack. lower jack a little and put the f350 blocks in.
The shackles are extremely easy...I have them on my truck and I am able to run 35s no problem...and yes like Scott said, make them an offer. I also got mine for 60 bucks.
