35s with a 3" body lift?

I have a 04 f150 2wd and was wondering if some 35" Nitto mud grapplers would fit with a 3" body lift? Thanks.

I personally doubt it... maybe with the standard 4x4 suspension setup, but not 2wd. What are your plans for this truck?

I want to run 35x12.50R27 Nitto mud grapplers... I cant afford a suspension lift, unless they are easy enough for a couple of unexperienced guys to put on. What do I need to get to run those tires?

Did I read that right.... 27s?? Are the sidewalls on that tire going to be the size of marbles?

I see from this post.... that offroad is not your thing. I would still shy away from a body lift. A full suspension lift can be pretty intricate... but maybe you are better served to find a front end leveling kit instead (not sure if they make them for 2WD though).

Sorry I meant 17s... And personally I dont see how you can assume that "offroad is not my thing". I've been muddin and going offroad since I was 13 so... How would I be able to fit 35s with just a leveling kit?

Well I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen a truck with 27" rims on anything more extreme than sand in a parking lot.

Ahh... yeah 17s are more at home offroad than 27s. Thus my thoughts.

any reason why you want 35" tires?

we can easily get your truck to fit a 33 or 34" tire...but 35" tires is kinda hard to achieve with a 4x2

Don't think the mud grapplers will fit without a new rim.... The sidewall is to aggressive

With an FX4 front coil and stock rear block, you will sit just as high as an FX4. Add a 2.5" spacer on top of that and you are as high as a leveled 4x4. You can then fit 35's. You will have a much stiffer ride, but will be able to squeeze your tires in there. (Luckily for you, you don't have to worry about CV angles, being 2wd.) Not to mention, all of this is easier to do than putting a body lift on your body style.

correct me if i am wrong but 4x4 front coil overs are longer not just a stiffer spring rate than 4x2's like most have said go with a leveling kit in the front 2" or 2 1/2 " and you can fit 33" tires i have a 2" leveling kit and fit stock fx4 wheels and tires on my 4x2 just fine and they measure 32" just my two cents

I don't think they would fit I have a six inch fabtech lift kit and 32" tires and they fit perfect and don't get any rubbing when turning. I looked at every other option but just had to bite the bullet and get the lift kit, plus they look the best.

It is all about the offset and backspacing on your rim. I have a leveling kit and 33inch mud grapplers and it does not rub
