I fubared!
I just finished the new oil cooler and egr delete job. Had to redo the turbo as I pinched the o-ring. Went to clean up and there was a spring on the floor. It is 1" X 3/8" and silver in color. I think it came out of the oil filter tube. I thought I heard something when I was rerunning the wires over the filter housing. I can't find clear enough diagrams to see what's what. Would someone be so kind as to take their filter out and snap a pic for me. I have to move my girls back to college starting Thursday and need the truck. I don't want to mess it up by having the filter messed up. If there is one out there already, I cant' find it.

It looks as the oil filter bypass flew out! There is no round part at the top of the adapter tube. I have the spring, where the H did the rest go? I bet I have to buy the whole works if I don't find it.
