Back to stock?

I bought a 76 F100 that is lowered with airshocks in the rear. With a heavy bumper and a cap, the back end sags, and with a load it really drags and bottoms out. I'm thinking of going back to stock. Should the leaf springs be mounted above the axle? is 4 leafs standard?

The leafs should be mounted above the axle.
Not 100% sure but I think 4 leafs are standard.
