Advancetrac RSC availaibilty dates?

When did Advancetrac RSC become available as an option or as standard on E-350's?

Looking for a newer model and am considering if I should look for these models...

Thanks, John

Advancetrack is annoying. All it does is defuel the engine when you turn too sharp over 35mph.

08 and later wagons have it built in, no option to not have it.
04 and later vans could have it optioned.

Is the Advancetrac a non-brake involved system then?

I remember reading something like that....

Some stability systems involve individual braking for roll control.

On a personal note, I once had to steer out of a situation in my 98 e-350.

While traveling on a busy 4 lane with center turn lane, A Tahoe turned left

from the far right lane in front of me (at 45 mph) It was late afternoon, my

headlights were on and I saw the reflection in his side doors!

I turned as hard as I could to the left and then to the right to stay out of

oncoming traffic with no loss of traction or tipping.

My van does have a rear sway bar that I added awhile ago.

This is what I've read about RSC:
There are many things that are inputs to the advance trac system. Using the 4 wheel speed sensors and steering wheel sensor, the system calculates the drivers intended path.

Using the lateral acceleromoter, roll rate, and yaw sensor it determines actual path. It will correct by applying brakes to individual wheels or reducing power etc.
