Hi guys i got some problem with cruise control, sometimes it works just fine every ride hit on set up the speed and its perfectly fine, sometimes i have to drive a while or just tap the brake pedal then its working fine, but once or twice didnt work at all, any clue? any ideas what can be bad or some switches or fuses i have to change? can i do it by myself or i have to find some good electric shop? dealer? let me know thx...
No i didnt i have it in my old 2001 when dealer send the papers to me to set the apointment but i never reacive nothing on my 05 so did i have to go to ford dealer/serice? To make it done i didnt know its a recall on 2005 thank you
I'm not certain that the recall applies to the '05s but I would check in to it.
Just call the service department with your VIN# and they can tell you if it needs to be done.
The switch is simple to change.
However if your vehicle is eligible have the dealer do the change.
It sounds as if the switch on the master cylinder is acting up. RockAuto Parts Catalog $9.59 + shipping.
