Reset MyFordTouch
I have the navigation/MyFordTouch system. My Sirius subscription trial was almost over, so I called and renewed for a year. Took the Sirius and the Traffic. last night I called to add the TravelLink. Screen shows hourclass icon on fuel prices, movies, weather, etc. When you touch any of them it says Loading Data. Does not load. Sirius says, after many trys to send the signal again, that the screen seems frozen and I should take it to the dealer to have the system rebooted/reset.
Is there any way I can do it myself without the hassle of a 60 mile trip to the dealer? Sirius feels that will do it, as the TravelLink worked fine during the free period. Once it is cleared it should be fine.
