I have an Explorer Limited with the nav and premium stereo. I called Sirius to add TravelLink to the Sirius pkg. They sent the signal, and the tabs for fuel prices, movies, weather, and sports all show hourglass icons. When you hit any of them it states that it is collecting data and could take a few minutes.Never loads. I've called Sirius 2-4 times and they resend the TravelLink signal, with the same results. Finally, one of the techs at Sirius suggested resetting/clearing the entire system. That should clear that screen so we can try again.
BTW, during the free 6 month trial period it worked fine. Once I extended the subscription with the Traffic, the TravelLink was shut off. Then, when I called last evening to geet it again, that's when the fun started.
Help!!!!!Any suggestions besides going to the dealer?????
I don't know if this will help you or not...I was at the local dealer today to fuss about an issue with MFT and he told me that they just got the message today that Ford was sending a new update. No details on what it is supposed to fix or how to get it. I went to the Sync My Ride website and did not see anything about it.
There are a few things that need to be fixed on my MFT. Sometimes the sound system will not turn off at all. The button/touch screen and even removing the key and opening all the doors will not turn it off. After 10 minutes it goes off when the timer shuts everything off.
Hopefully we'll both get a fix.
Maybe they'll put the temp. back on the touchscreen, too.
i m in Canada and I bought the Exp XLT 2013 with MFT. Up to now they reset the system, change a part, up date the system and tomorrow I am still going to the dealer with the same problem...! I love my Exp but presently i am starting to learn how to ate MFT!
