Coolant filter installed!
Woohoo!
I bought the dieselsite coolant filter kit for our trucks from a guy on TDS.
I saw his ad on CL for the filter kit and the thermostat housing for $80.
When i asked him if he still had it and would be willing to get a quote for shipping and do PP he said he was leery doing PP over craigslist. I said well most of the guys on the forums do it that way.
Hes like what forum you on? im like mainly fte, but i have an account on TDS and PSN.
He told me to hit up his classified ad on TDS.
Ended up getting the thermostat housing, new pressure degas bottle cap, the entire filter kit, and a ford motorcraft CPS for $100 shipped!!!

I got it after work about 7 and just got er put in! Pics tomorrow... i didnt start it up since I figured everything else is new I might as well grab a new thermostat and rubber flange on the way home from work tomorrow before i put my fleetcharge coolant in and button it all up!
Lovin it so far... especially since it took QUITE a few flushes of water with the hose and then distilled to get it looking remotely clear..... I really wonder if it was ever changed..
Hoping its not too late to keep my water pump alive! No leaks thus far...

Thanks All! Nah no pics last night... i literally came home from a 10 hr work day.. found it on my porch... installed it.. ate a sandwhich and a few beers while doing so... then went inside and passed out. lol
haha Nope not this time! I must say tho... that one on my forearm is a nice pink scar and my wrist still looks fresh. You can feel a nice bubble on my wrist. Right over the vein! Curious if its a blood bubble or some cyst that formed..
Doesnt hurt tho... so until it causes problems itll just be there!

Sadly it was a one time thing. He had bought the stuff. sold the truck and was cutting his losses. lol
Yeah i forgot today... had 10 hr day today... golf... then got the new thermostat installed and drove the truck! Runs great!
