Which leveling kit did you use???
I know this has been asked 1000 times but its always on a 2 or 3 year old post. Which 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit did you guys use? I've seen autospring, ready lift, protech and some other ones. I just need the 2 inch kit but is one any better than the other? I understand an alignment is in order after install to keep the stock ride. I dont really want to have to add stablizing bars, etc.

Looks as if ready lift has a stage 1 and a stage 2 kit. The price doubles for the stage 2. Is the track bar bracket really needed to adjust things to retain the factory ride or will the stage one with an alignment work?

I just installed an Icon stage 1 this last week-end with Bilstein shocks. I like it. The progressive springs are nice. The shocks are night and day better. The kit came with upper ball join cams that restore the caster and camber. Took it to the alignment shop on Monday and it was only off on toe by a couple 100ths.

Ive been trying to decide if I want to go with a 2.5 Leveling kit or a 4.5 suspension kit. I have talked to SEVERAL people about the Icon Stage 3 Leveling kit, but its over 2K for a Leveling kit. But, if you have the coin, they say its the best leveling kit MADE. If I decide in a leveling kit, thats what Im gonna run, with traction bar, and Piggy back shocks. But its Pricey

I've got Ready Lift stage 4 on order. Should have it installed in a day or so. I did my research and Ready Lift was the least intrusive to the stock suspension and the parts are guaranteed. Next wheels and 35" tires.

Fontana, I have the same lift and it can easily fit 37" tires as long as you don't go crazy wide. The kit says 35" but as you can see in my pictures there is tons of clearance.

I saw the icon as well but it is so much more expensive than the others. I can see spending 3-4k on a quality suspension lift but I would hope that would not be necessary just to bring the front up 2 inches and retain the quality ride. What does the icon offer that the others don't?

For the Icon stage one, it's just the springs and cams. I paid $384 here:

Not sure and I used the drop down that included them with the springs on the page I referenced above. You might try calling them. The place seemed to have pretty competitive prices.

Wow -where can i get the icon for $400? The cheapest I've found online was $900. I'm evidently looking at the wrong kit. my996, I checked out the bilstein kit and it looks pretty neat. I'd eventually like to put bilsteins all the way around so it makes since to buy a kit with 2 of em included. Were you happy with the results and the ride as compared to stock?

I love it. Of course the stock front shocks were shot.
As regarding price, the $384 was just the springs and cams for a basic stage one level. It did not include shocks or new pan rod. Just so we're clear. The link to the site where I bought mine is in the post above.
