I had ran a post a few days back about slight stumble at idle on my 01 v-10 4x4 has 225000 miles. Had to run kid out of town so took truck. Had 5 people in truck first tank 14.26 mpg second 12.58 mpg overall 13.42mpg. Did better than I thought it would truck is bone stock except accelerator muffler. What do you guys think.
V10 auto with 4:30 gears 4X4 single cab I avg 13 MPG up mtn road and hwy. I avoid the City but I expect slight drop there too.
Funny my dad had a 99v10 motor home. He installed the Banks trans and motor kit and got 2 MPG better at 65MPH. The bar of soap climbed hills better and everything too. I was curious about the same for my truck but not sure it would pay off.

Sound pretty good. My truck gives average of about12 MPG and see a slight drop in the city. I even tie the goods with heavy duty grade 70 chain binder unfortunately which adds some more weight on the truck.
