Does every OBS smoke white when its started?
Just answered your own question.
Every 94.5 to 96 OBS power stroke had single shot injectors in it. Most 97's as well.

Thanks Joe but I haven't spent any time dealing with an obs..as I don't have one. I've done quite a bit of reading and have found several members talking about singles smoking at start up so I thought I would bring it up...

But single shots and smoking at start up has nothing to do with the injector.

Hey Joe, a friend of mine, that you may know, has suggested to me about going with a set of Swamps 200/30% hybrid injectors, (in my 02) along with a BB turbo. He told me that the hybrid will use less oil than stock 140cc injectors, as will increase mileage if I drive accordingly. The BB turbo will lower EGT's, and help clear up the smoke. Your thoughts.

One More questions for all that run SS's Can I just tell my tuner to change my tunes for the SS's or is it a "live tune" or "make adjustments until it's right " type of game.

Should be able to just have tunes updated to single shot programming. Of course, live tuning will always be more beneficial, but shouldn't be a necessity. Jody programmed my tunes to run e SS's without being live tuned (hopefully will happen sometime soon though, after my JW trans goes in)

Thanks for all of the input. I talked with Jim (Rosewood diesel) today, and I decided to go with stage 1 160cc single shots. When I get back to Florida next weekend I'll ship my "core" injectors up to him, my chip is already at BTS getting burned for the SS's, so I should have zero down time and I'm excited about that 
I forgot to ask about bigger nozzles, but him and I still have to go over details, and I'll see what he recommends.
