Now that is too Funny !! But not funny for you. Do you have the saddle bags for the bike?
So did you get your new tires yet or you are waiting until the truck is back on the road? Well I am happy for you about the injectors. So how much did the injectors set you back from Rosewood?
No saddle bags, but I do have a 21 liter magnetic tank bag. It's just big enough for a twelve pack of bottled beer.
The tires haven't arrived yet (or they forgot to call) I'll get them on after I get up and running.
The injectors were $1360 with shipping. I got lucky, his prices just went up, but I slid in just a few days before the increase.

Joe, I had my AB's rebuilt into the Premium stage 1 SS's 160cc stock nozzle, new plungers, barrels, and nozzles.
You will like them. Thats what my wife has in the Excursion (New AC's but...)... I would have gone with the 100% nozzles, but we didnt have time. Just had to beat someone on the dyno for a weekend event. LOL
I tossed the idea around in my head about getting 100% nozzles, but I'm sure these will do just fine for my needs.
He said they looked real good for 281k...maybe all of that Walmart two stroke helped.

Did you ask Jim if he thought using two stroke oil additives actually help the injectors? I am wondering what an injector builder would reccommend to use to get the most out of a new set of injectors?
So if your injectors looked good for 281K was he saying that all of them were in working order? Of course they were worn but were any of them not working correctly from what he seen taking them apart.
Oh and by the way for making sure that you bought a tank bag that would at least hold a 12pak

Swamps says dont waste your money... Good clean, well filtered diesel.
Franko, are they installed? Who did the tuning? Being you tow alot like Joe I would really like to know how they work out for you.
Chet
Not yet Chet, they just got shipped out today. I'll update the thread when I get it running. I'll be pulling a gooseneck back out to Houston to pick up some work related items, so I'll have a towing review shortly.

I didn't think to ask about the two stroke. The one injector had a loose armature,( the one I changed out a couple weeks ago) another only had a few thousand miles on it, so I'm sure it looked good. He said the others required some minor machining (on what I didn't ask) but for the miles they looked real good. I'm super excited to see how it runs, but I'm still waiting for my chip (it's been @ BTS for 6 or 7 weeks....) I know they are super busy but......
I may have my PCM flashed by someone else so I can at least drive it. I'm getting real impatient!
Ed, I've bungee'd a twelve pack on the back seat of my Harley, so I made sure I bought a big enough tank bag for this bike.
It unzips and gets a few inches taller.....uh.....I'm still referring to the tank bag...
Drive away... Will not hurt anything. Throttle will be touchy and it will idle a bit strange, but it will run fine. If you like I will go pull my chip and start my truck on factory tuning for example?

I wouldn't ask you to do that for me
I'll trust your judgment, and I appreciate the info.
