cruise control not working
Hi I just got a 94 EB Bronco and the cruise control doesnt work. None of the controls are doing anything (as far as I can tell). Ive heard that there was a recall abot these years and models about the cruise control and that ford simply had their dealers disconect the systems until they could get replacement parts to distribute. Is it possible it's disconnnected somewhere? That it was never repaired after being disconnected?

Check with Ford to be certain the recall has been done on your truck (they can tell you by cross referencing the VIN) because NOT doing the recall work and reconnecting has the potential to cause engine bay fires whether the truck is running or not! If the recall work HAS been done there are other potential causes but I'd check with Ford first... worst case scenario it hasn't been done and they reconnect everything properly and you spend nothing to get your cruise fixed and the recall work done. Classic case of two birds with one stone.
