Has anyone removed this and if so what size belt did you change to

Many of us have done this mod. The answer depends on many factors. One of which is what engine do you have?

Sorry 302.. And if you don't mind what are the pros and cons of doing this? And under the hood on the left there are 2 containers behind the battery, one is the charcoal filter that has a tube going from it to the smog pump I removed that but whats the thing behind it that's got two vacuum hoses on it?

the piece behind it is just a vacuum storage canister. to keep proper vacuum in the system.
