fek fek fek....I have a small drip...a new seal on the Greyhound to Whitehorse, Yukon...and will have that installed in a week..in the meantime, I have to drive there and wanted just check levels. It's a new leak..so, am thinking no sweat, but still...
Maybe a 11mm allen wrench socket? Usually they just use the drive head off a ratchet. Looks like it may be rounded now. You may have to hammer in an oversized torx socket to get the plug out. Then replace with a new one.
Maybe wrap a few layers of tape around a 1/2 extension to take up the gap.
It almost looks like it uses a spanner type socket? Where did the conversion diff come from?
An 11mm fits like a glove..but still rolls. I am not able to effect any repairs tonight..too late to srat this and then have arrange for parts..there is only a NAPA here and everything has the shelves are always scant on odd stuff. I shall have to wait for Ford in Whitehorse.
The conversion was done by Sportsman Light Truck in Kamloops Bn. They do lots of stuff for the oil patch and emerg..and 2 or 3 rv's a year.
I am gone by 6 am...a big drive to do. There is an outfit in BC..Kal Tire..that si good and has lots of locations..I am going to see of they have one along my route..Dease Lake, actually.
