Ok, my max torque is 15ft-lbs less this time, than last time I dynoed 290hp.....
You don't understand. I am not talking about a specific rpm. An engine configuration will hold close to a certain max tq to max hp ratio.
I just plotted out the rpm and hp numbers from my dyno sheet to hunt for peak torque....
@ 2600rpm I have peak HP of 345, that makes torque 697 @ 2600
My peak torque is actually higher than I thought. On one pull peak torque would of occured @ 2250rpm, where I was making 325rwhp. This equates to 758.62rwtq.
Yeah, you're right. I assumed your max power was at 3300.
Here is a great video Pat put together of my runs. @ 1:46 you can see all of my dyno pulls. The one weird looking curve that's shifted way to the left was me using the vehicles brakes to load the truck and try to spool my charger, I let out very early, as you can see, but it showed me what I have capable for a peak torque.
don't be too caught up with that number... its only a dyno number, and I think everyone there knew the dyno was running lower than reality today. Your truck should be more like 170.
I asked Ryan if I could use my trucks brakes to try to load it up with the methanol, so I started @ a lower rpm with some brake action going..... then got into it and realized it wasn't working and stopped.
All of the other runs I just rolled into the throttle instead of WOT off the bottom.
Nvm.... Just calced the RPM, that's not possible to be a 5th gear pull..... I guess he recorded a 4th gear pull, and I don't see my brake loading run on there, must be because I didn't finish the sweep.
Good runs guys. Those are good numbers and I'm sure they will be even better with more tuning. One thought I did have about the horsepower to torque ratio is that won't the ratio change slightly now that you guys have more fuel up top whereas before your fuel levels were dropping before? I'm sure it won't be a really big difference but I was thinking it could change it a bit...
Also NMB2, do you plan on changing the water/methanol injectors out to smaller ones? Less fluid would lower the chances of it putting out the fire and would be more likely to actually make more power.

Disregard the water/methanol question, I saw the answer over at PSN...
Well it was a wild ride.... But the only black marks were on the street.... I have driven faster cars, But I have never seen a 4 door 1 ton Truck do that before...
Wow, this is awesome. Glad to be able to see your trucks on the Dyno. I know you guys can hit the 400 mark. Good luck and I will continue to cheer from the stands
