My drivers side door lock switch is working barely/intermittently. The key fob works every time on both doors, so I think the door lock actuators are ok? I looked up the relay and it said: multifunction. Could part of that relay be working and another circuit in it be bad? or is it just the switch?
When my actuators went out I would get 1 or 2 strokes with the lock then it would like barely move, like half way, then nothing, then let it sit for a while and I would get a full stroke on the lock. My actuators were bad replaced them and no more issues
My actuators both work fine with the key fob and right door lock switch. The left door lock switch is the intermittent one. It seems to lock fine but much of the time has to by pushed 3-4 times to unlock. I'm wondering if it's the switch or just the door lock multifunction relay that's failing.
This is also happening to my wiper temp switch button on the blinker arm. When depressed, some times you have to do it several times for it to come on. Contacts may be worn down. I wonder if that wiper spring loaded switch arm comes off?
