dead gauge cluster

My dad has a 97 f150 ext cab and the gauges are dead.... What would cause this? I've checked the faq but didn't see anything.

Check fuse F29 under the dash. if blown, SEARCH keyword "F29" for numerous previous threads with same issue.

F29 isnt blown. Any more ideas?

You did check the box under the dash, not the one under the hood?

If you checked the correct box and fuse, then it's multi-meter and troubleshooting time. Have a meter? Pull F29 and check for power when the key is in START and RUN. Report your results.
