Good morning one pagers, sitting at mvd all bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to go, But mvd can't find my ELD records once again. Without that I can't even start.
the good news is that Deborah is testing today and she doesn't make us do the Riordan corner.
hopefully they get my Eld figured out in the next couple hours.

Check out Woot.com. They have solar generators on sale today. Note: I don't think they're worth it.

I don't like roundabouts when towing. When I went through Billings, MT I had to go through two of them that were on the outskirts of town. I'm thinking, "WTF? Why put a roundabout way out here? Somebody's just messing with me."

A client from a few years back had a roundabout behind their parking garage. It was a snowy day and I was there early before anyone else. I drifted around the roundabout a few times in my half ton truck. That was fun.

Somewhere on the Internet there is a video of a car that completely missed the roundabout and went straight through, launching into the air. Take-off looked good, landing not so much.

Billings’ roundabouts are effed up anyway. One can enter from inside lane, then exit at the first exit, changing lanes in the roundabout! Engineers there were on meth when they designed them.

It is done.
I officially have a class A cdl with air brake, combination, doubles triples, tankers and hazmat endorsements.
4 started this morning, everyone passed the pre trip.
1 failed parallel parking.
2 failed on the road test.

We have a memorial cross. Road over the freeway used to be straight. Two roundabouts were added, one on each side of the freeway overpass bridge. A few weeks after the project was completed, drunk motorcyclists went straight. Must have flown a good distance. Cross is for him.

I'm a fan of roundabouts. My county loves stop lights with lots and lots of arrows to ensure everyone gets to stop. Sometimes for a long time. Roundabouts keep the traffic moving.

Good morning guys and happy Friday!

Congratulations Bart! I'll bet you are glad that's over!

Roundabouts can be good and can be bad. There is a place for them for sure. Wisconsin DOT fell in LOVE with them about 10 years ago or so. Some make a ton of sense and some look like forced policy.

Camping today. I'm leaving at noon to get loaded up. Linda said she will be home at 15:00, but I'll bet it's earlier.
