Good evening guys!!
Just got back from a quick 3 day trip to the Mississippi Coast. Stayed at the oldest daughter and son in laws condo a block from the beach. They are planning to build a house there because they like the area so much.
Great looking boat Steve and the new Ram is no slouch either.
That altered WB early 60's Ford looks like its from my old home town of Gretna, La. Sidney Foster and his dad were always building race cars and all the young guys would go over and look and listen when they cranked up the engines!
Have a great rest of your Sunday everyone!!

I pulled the tires off of the ATV trailer today and cleared off all the construction materials that had accumulated on the trailer over the past three, maybe four years of it not leaving the storage lot. One of the tires is an original from 2013. The tread looked great but the sidewall was showing signs of aging so it was time to replace the tires. I'm planning to head up into the mountains in a week with my hunting partner to scope out a new area that we'll be hunting in the fall. The ATV will be going with us.

Gerry...they would run this car at Laplace Raceway in the early 60's. Always Ford guys but they jumped ship when they got a new '63 Chevy with a 427 engine. Was the top stocker in SE Louisiana in the early 60's. Candies and Hughes another local team were just getting their feet wet at the same track back then also.

I thought I heard one of the commentators say something about it not happening since 1960.
Some kind of material added to the front bumper fascia. Apparently some material added that affected the aero, hidden under the wrap & that was enough for them to DQ.
Seems to me that if it was on one car, they have a crew problem. Exact same thing on 2 cars would tell me they have a serious team problem with JGR. Either that or a gross "misinterpretation" of the rules.

Good morning guys and Happy Monday!
It's been a wild one already for work! I've caught up for the most part. Owen is still recovering from his wisdom teeth extraction. He had a rough weekend. He's doing better now, but we are pretty sure that a suture gave way on one of his incisions as the gums are over his back molar on the right lower. So he is going to call the oral surgeon this morning. Hopefully not a big deal.
