Always Something

Had the front right tire shred it's tread,in the process it ripped out some wires in the fender and bent the fender inwards. It's back up and running with the wires re-done and new front tires. Here's my new problem, apparently when it bent the fender inwards, it ripped out the bolts that go from the rear of fender to the cab. My question to all you Gurus, where can I get new bolts or can any bolts work? If I need new correct bolts, what are they called? The truck is running fine,it's just that I notice this separation when washing. Thanks in advance,L8R ZFLASH

I don't know what you're working on. If it's a 48-52, they don't have bolts that go through the fender into the cab.

ouch that sucks !!! had a right rear do that on a 62 galaxie 500 more door with a 335 horse 390 ...... ripped the floorboard out from just behind the front seat all the way to the taillight housing . you got lucky it didn't do more damage ......... of course i was running in excess of the triple digit figure when it let go so that might explain the horrific damage to her ..............
