The one on the left is the correct rim for my 1955 F100. The one on th right I was told was also for a 53-55 Ford my hub cap does not fit it. It is 5x5.5 and is 16" by 4" wide. I wanted to know if anyone has seen on of these ever. My father thinks because of the Chrome ring and only being 4" wide that it might be for a car. Any ideas?
If your hubcab doesn't fit it, it's not for a Ford truck. And it's too narrow for your vintage. If the narrow wheel takes a larger cap than your truck rim, it could be for a Lincoln or Mercury of 40's vintage, if it's a FoMoCo part at all.
