Interesting. So they stripped down the Lariats and donated those options to the Platinum. Makes me glad I have my Lariat Ultimate because there's really no difference in options. The big difference is chrome on the Lariat versus body-colored on the Platinum.

I will be getting the 1-touch up/down windows though. Nothing is more annoying than the auto-down-only button.

Sync is now standard on XLT? Blah, it already took me a while to find an XLT WITHOUT Sync.

I guess I missed something. What did they strip from the Lariat? You can still get the Ultimate Package on it.

Little things like the universal garage door opener, the rear camera, the tailgate step, etc. I went through, line by line, and noticed that what used to be in the Lariat is now on the Platinum.

The garage door opener was never standard on the Lariat. It's been a $125 option and it's listed as that on my window sticker. The rear camera is standard on the Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. The tailgate step wasn't standard either. It's included in the Ultimate Package or it's a stand alone option.
