2004 6.0 No start issue
I have a 2004 F250 6.0, SCT Tuned, APR intake, 4" Turbo Back Exhaust, EGR delete from Cobb's Diesel, Truck has given me no problems for over a year now. Drove the truck about 100 miles on Saturday and parked it, truck ran great the entire time, Went out Monday night to start it and could not get it going, cranked and cranked until it finally kicked over but ran rough (almost like a really cold start). After Engine Coolant Temp came up to about 115 degrees (taken from data logger in SCT Tuner) she smoothed right out and ran fine. NO CEL or codes were able to be pulled. Let her sit again Monday night into Tuesday morning came out to see if it would start and had the same problem again. Last night I decided to plug it in to see if that would change anything. Went outside this morning to go to work and checked coolant temp to make sure block heater was working (hasnt been used in awhile) temp was around 150 degrees, turned the key and she started right up! Checked the FICM voltage with key and and while cranking and have 48V during both tests. I'm leaning toward a glow plug problem but would appreciate any ideas before I start tearing anything else apart.
