Rick, I don't know if you read my post 'TC lock' but mine is not locking until it gets into 4th gear. Do you think my 'Cure' failed me or maybe the wire plug is messed up? Its been a long time since I installed it. Thanks
The Cure is supposed to speed up the lock (remove heat ) , it's possible you may have a loose connection ..
My program is 123 TC, 4 (TDE 1) under normal acceleration..
I can Check with Racer if you like .Can you link me to the thread ?...
BTW , I also have the cold shift schedule, I use the OD off button when the Trans Fl temp is below 60 degrees
I also use the OT button off until it warms up a little. To me it almost seems like its on a timer instead of trans temp, IDK. Mine is also 1,2,3, TC & 4, until a thousand miles ago. I don't recall my PCM code. Don't go out of your way to ask Racer X but if you do I think they have my PCM code from when I ordered the valve body. Thanks again!

If beans is your tuner they can remove the "no TC lock till warm
timer, (up to 600 seconds )
I talk to racer often ' I'll link him to your thread ...
Ya Rick, I am running Beans tunes now. I'm so much in the habit of using the OD button it really doesn't matter. But if I send it in for a reburn I'll mention it.
Ok back on topic, finally got to pull about 7k last night and this chip continues to impress. As most of you know, these trucks stock don't like pulling heavy till you're up in the rpm's. With the chip, it just flat out goes. Absolutely loving the purchase!
