I knooooww what you mean! Try building one from the frame up.........broke!LOL!!
I can imagine, thats why my CJ project is a bare frame mocked up on my 1 ton axles and nothing else.
I want to pull the bed to get the front tank in that Nate sold me, but if I pull the bed I want to clean the rear of the frame, paint it, hutch mod, hapoon mod, clean and paint the underneath of the bed, blah blah blah blah blah.
I'm always picking on you Mike but would stage 1.5's be better then 1's or 2's with the s366? That's has crossed my mind without actually hearing it discussed.
For Todd I think the 160/30 would be a good choice for you I think 180/80
I don't know why or what causes this but when I went from the 160/stock to the 180/80 on a WOT run my egt's don't come up as fast and they are about 100* cooler towing

The way it has been described to me, the larger nozzles allow the fuel injection event to happen faster, in essence improving the timing of the combustion. Using a lot of fuel and a stock nozzle makes the injection even take longer and the combustion doesn't happen as fast, which they say can tend to raise your EGTs at WOT or when towing. I guess it makes sense to me that it would work that way.
Thanks for explaining that Nate. Mike is going to do head studs, push rods and springs but I don't feel like doing all that. I might regret it later if I don't with that s366 turbo. I do hate the side of the road, knock on wood I haven't been there lately. In the last three years or so I've gone over board with maintenance and it has paid off. I do love the thought of less EGT's so I can keep my foot into it.
