transmission problem
what could be my problem? i have no reverse there was a snap when it stoped working could it be a spring? its an 84 bronco 2 with the 2.8 carb manual trans not sure the trans but it is stock

BAD LUCK easy fix
Sorry to hear that happened.. has a same issue a few years ago.. there is a set of plactic rings in the shifter part of the transmission that controls the reverse as well as keeps the tramsmission in gear. check that out first.. ichanged them out and everything worked fine after that. I recomend doing your research on the transmission first.. you can find out what trasmission you have from the bolt number and pattern on the bottom of the transmission ... good luck.
