Temp ECT Advice

Guys I am looking for some advice on a perceived problem I feel I might have.

Prior to my cooland flush my Edge Insight would routinely run between 192-198 degrees ECT. I live in So Cal drive the 60 constantly and only occassionally would I see a spike to 210 -212 degree mark at which point it would drop pretty quick once the fan kicked in. EOT delta was always 4-5 higher then ECT normally around 203 though.

After my coolant flush, driving like I normally do, I am consistenly at 207 degrees ECT and EOT 212. Now I can see temps anywhere between 207-225 which has never happened before. They truck couldnt care less if I was towing either same temps.

Reservoir is full, I am not blowing coolant or leaking coolant that I can see. I know am still within normal range but it's not normal to me after watching the original temps for 91K I first spoke about. Any ideas?
Clutch fan?

Thanks,

Although 225 isn't an emergency I would be a little worried about the change in temps also. Did you pull the thermostat when doing the flush? Maybe it got dropped or somthing? I would throw a new one at it as a first step. Trash on the outside of the radiator can cause higher temps, might want to inspect between the coolers and wash it out. If that doesn't help might be some crud got moved around inside the cooling system an it's going to need a second round of flushing. What kind of coolant did you put back in it? Did you flush with chemicals? Pull the block drains?

How many miles driven since flush? (curiosity mainly)

Your Edge Insight will tell you if you have any codes, doesn't it? Does it read Fan speed? Even at those temps, you should see the fan increase speed.

After 12 hours of cold soaked engine are the temps to ambient temps?

Since you live in Cali, here is a thought, and someone correct me, might you have a brake caliper hanging up, causing more load on the motor, and in this summer heat, be causing the increase? Folks report worsening fuel mileage with a hanging brake caliper.

Flushing sometimes clogs up the oil cooler in the process.

The dealership did the flush I didn't do it. They were offering 30% off any Service Work and since I have had prodominantly good luck with them, they have done all my major Service Work I let them handle it. The RO indicates all the right items being used. Now what exactly did they open up is a good question if anything. I had the work done on 5-22-2012 @ 90980 and she has on her 93,000 so 2000 miles since work worst case.
If they clogged my oil cooler I would think my ECT would be ok but my EOT would be near or passing the delta indicating a problem. That delta is still within 4-5 degrees though it does take longer to cool back down a bit.

I have not driven my truck in the last 3 days so this morning the ECT temp on start up was 82 which was pretty dam close to the temp as I was sweating like a pig giving her a bath.

I don't think I have anything hanging up causing drag as my MPG is steady eddie.. Anywhere between 15 to 18 depending on how I drive her.

Hmmm...................
