Hi there, hoping to have this answered today. Wanting to order a 772441-5001s Garrett Powermax for my 2005 F250. One website says that I need an install kit for it and the other's say that everything is included, anybody installed one of these and know for sure?
here ya go First number is FORD and second is International
3C3Z 9T514 AD / 1840053C96 -----------------------------------Turbo Hardware "Mounting" Kit
If you have an International dealer Close by they are usually alot cheaper give them the part# but they wont be able to verify its the right part for you as FORDS are not in there system. But as long as its a Good Part# they can verify its the turbo Hardware kit you should be good to go
OK a Search on Tousley says it has a updated part# for FORD
Well they have two turbo mounting kits, one for "Ford" turbo's and one for "Garrett" turbo's. The only issue I have is that he is the only one who has told me I need the Garrett kit while every other website has told me that everything is included for install. Looks like this Garrett kit has some little spacers?

The Kit in the Link?????
even the OEM Turbo uses them little spacers on the Bolts so they may Not Contain the Little spacers in some since they are reusable
as long as the turbo is a Direct Bolt-on any Ford Kit will work FWIW
I think they just want you to buy there Hardware kit Looks like a Huge Mark-Up in Price IMO
Here are pics of the two kits. I agree with replacing gaskets and o-rings but those spacers add $32 to the cost of the kit and I see no harm in reusing them if they are already there?
The spacers you see in the kit are for 2003 model year engine applications only. If your truck is a mid-2004 or newer, the spacers are not used, and therefore not needed.
If your truck is a 2005 model year as your signature indicates, you don't need those spacers. I probably have a million of those spacers sitting around my workbenches at work and in my garage with the number of years I've been working on these trucks.

And I learned something New Today thanks Mike
I knew the Rear Bolt changed and a Vein was Added Exhaust side IIRC
and real early ones have that Snap to Connect oil feed
But I didnt know about the spacers
Mike
Is the Pedistall Modified in a Way that makes it so No Need for spacers??? or just for rear Bolt
The spacers are a 2003 thing Bennie. 04's and up don't need them at all. All the OP needs is the cheapest turbo gasket kit. The powermax is a direct bolt in for the stock turbo and only a trained eye could tell the differences.
