cable shift conversion
Has anyone gone from conventional linkage (column shift 3spd auto) to cable shift?
When I got my 71 f-100 the prev owner had done engine and tran swap and rigged a floor shift. I want to return to a column shift. Right now there is a 351w with what I believe to be an fmx trans, and I don't know if I can link back to column. I hope that there might be an aftermarket cable conversion that would work. I've seen some Lokar & Ididit products, but they all appear to be for chevy vehicles, or column to floor conversions.
