Removing second row seats

I have a 2001 excursion and am trying to remove the second row bench seat. How do you get to the back set of of torq screws? The front ones are easy to get to but the rear are under the seat trac and I haven't been able to get to them.I am pretty sure I am overlooking the obvious but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

When the seat back is flipped forward the seat base lock is supposed to release and allow the seat to slide forward. In certain conditions (the coil spring weakens?) the seat will no longer lock in place with the seat back up and so people pop out the rod that causes the base to unlock and this will lock the seat in place regardless of the seat back position.

With the seat slid forward the bolts are exposed.

You can either reattach the lock/unlock rod or with the seat bottom flipped forward unlock the latch by hand. You'll need to remove the seat back handle and the side trim to get to the rod.

No prob. I had no idea that the seats were even supposed to slide forward until I went to remove them myself. I had seen that unlocking rod hanging loose and ignored it.
