I am wondering if it is possible to make the Driver's side seat slide open like the passenger side seat does? I have a Supercab and often times I am putting my groceries and stuff in the extended cab but am getting annoyed at always having to go to the passenger side while shopping by myself. I have an XLT so is it that the power seat won't work with the sliding base from the passenger side?
My seat has levers on the side and back that pops the back forward, and slides to get access to the back seat. My seats are manual, so I don't have the power controls, but the lever is in the same place. You just pull up on it. It's circled in red below.
I have the same seats as mrollings53, and my passenger seat will tilt and slide forward, but my drivers seat just tilts. I'll look through my manual again but I thought only the passenger seat was supposed to tilt and slide...hence my question about modifying the drivers.
