Identify this rear end
I was afraid to title this thread "have a look at my rear end" but I really need some help to identify what this rear end is so I can get new seals for it. Its out of a 49 Merc M68 and I think its original to the truck but it may have been switched out at some point as the e-brake set up and brake cylinders dont seem to match any description I've been able to find.

Typing the part number on your carrier into google found this website. It seems it's an Eaton rear from a 50 Chevy truck, or at least of that vintage. It very likely would fit other years, too.
