ford 302

I just bought a ford model a roadster with a 302 in it. oil pan is leaking along with the rear main. only problem is that I do not know the year of the engine and the guy I bought it ffrom doesn't know either. thanks in advance for any help.

The serial number on the engine is C8OE6015A

ford 302

C8OE6015A = 1968

The "C" refers to 1960's and the "8" is the year, therefore it is a 1968 engine.
