no but you might want it with you when you get a Harness just to verify

5C3Z-12B637-AA / ------------------------------------------------Engine Harness (Early Build 2005)*
5C3Z 12B637 BA / 1855214C9--------------------------------------Engine Harness (Late Build 2005/2006/2007(EBP Sensor Bolted To FICM Bracket))*

Looks like the late build 05 the second number is an International nuber so if you have one by you they usually cheaper

And I hope these part#s are Good they do update them time to time and I have a Hard time keeping up

Did you see any damage to the Harness????or chaffe wire???

If you really want to change it then try Tousley Ford

Tousley Ford Parts Depot

or International

International alittle diff setup so I was surprised to see a Number for them but they are Usually cheaper if you can find the Part threw them

You know, the last time I was at a Navistar store picking up some "DT466 Blue" engine paint, just for S's and G's I gave the parts counterperson the part number for the engine wiring harness and was told that it came back as a "restricted" part number. After noticing that I was in a Ford dealer tech uniform, he asked, "this isn't for a Ford is it?" That's when I nodded. At that point was when he gave me "the look" and replied, "that explains it". Not sure what to make of it.

Part Number 5C3Z12B637AA
Part Name WIR ASY ENG CONTR SN
MSRP $887.23
Core $0.00
Online Price $458.70

Heres what pulled for early 05

mmaybe not to bad considering Im thinking its a compleate Engine Harness

If you were careful maybe you could just change the Wire out and reuse the Pins

I did it on my car where I just used some cheap connectors from oreiyles

So the parts guy wouldnt even help ya????

The international by me where I got my ICP sensor and I told them it was for a ford and he didnt bat an eye and Hooked me up witha ICP sensor ordered it in for me and all They was really decent about it

The only thing was they couldnt pulled anything up for a 6.0L Ford cause the stuff wasnt in his system like that but I gave him the part# and came Back an ICP I said is it the right one he said IDK but it is an ICP sensor that comes up for that part so I said good enough Order it in and it all worked out

I just dont see why International would care really who cares there selling Product so

Could it be there still Mad about the FORD & NAVISTAR DIVORCE??????LOL

Wonder what one is PAYING CHILD SUPPORT

The Navistar dealer here wants a VIN for the truck before they'll look up parts by Navistar number. I always tell them it's for a salvage motor and I don't have a VIN available. I was never able to get the harness even with the correct Navistar number. I have found that some parts people are more helpful than others at the same dealership.

I think you'll be OK replacing/repairing wires in the PCM to FICM harness as long as it's not a shielded wire. When you get into the crank and cam sensor wires you need to replace the harness since they are shielded and are fairly sensitive to electrical noise.
