Transfer cases with output flanges?
I am looking into a V8 conversion in a Mitsubishi Delica L400, I am blue blooded so it is hard for me to look at anything other than a 5.0L Windsor due to size limitations, plus the fact that most Ford 4x4s are left drop, which is what I need.
Anyway I am wondering if anyone knows which 2000 onwards 4.2L F150 4X4 has bolt on prop shaft flanges on the transfer case?
Are F150 manual shift transfer cases rare?
If anyone knows of a cheap 2000 onwards 4.2L F150 4X4 4R70w transmission and transfer let me know please.
Depending on what you want and level of experience with wiring you have some options.
No wiring- carbed 302 AOD and any married tcase up to a 98 model
A lot of wiring- efi 302 e40d and any married tcase up to a 98 model.
None of these cases are in any way rare.
The rear flange yoke is easy to buy aftermarket for 205s. Not sure about flanges for 208s or BW cases
