Well, I managed to get a break in the clouds and started on this and have a really annoying port now full of something hard around the spark plug nut that's not letting me get it out.. I've tried vacuuming it out, loosen it with wd40, carb cleaner. I've got a wire and tried to break it loos and nothing... I don't have an air compressor so im stuck because of this little debris or what ever it is.. Looks like some sort of gunk compacted on one side... I cant really see down the port like this, I had to put my iPhone down inthere to get this shot so reaching it is a pain.. Any ideas on how else i can try and remove this??
A nice shot of compressed air would be best to remove that debris. If the debris is loose try a smaller diameter hose taped to the vacuum hose. But really, do yourself a favor and find some compressed air to shoot in there. (Portable tank filled from a repair shop, etc.)

Good Luck,
Just make sure that you put a towel over the top of it to catch the debris. LOL
bad news.. After checking for wet plugs i didnt see any of them wet... I took everthing apart and reconected everything and still have the same problem, bad sputter on drive and no power to move.. Im moving on to the thottle body next and see if that works..

Could this be bad fuel? Can't remember if you had said anything about that yet.
Wife driving and 5 quarts low doesn't give me good feelings but perhaps there is still hope.
All that moisture could have burned up some COP's. I would try disconnecting COP's one at a time while it's idling and see if there are any that make no difference. If you find any, try swapping the COP with a good cylinder to verify it moves the problem. (Or you can just buy a new COP to try.)

In the first post, second paragraph, he says "spent a little more and good some heavy duty once again on ebay".... but you are right that it still could be.
Today im cleaning out the throttle body and see if that works.. My neighbor told me his crown vic had a similar problem and it was his 02 sensor,.. Before buying anymore parts im gonna clean throttle body and check the coils as recommended above.... matter of fact im going to do that right now... BRB
Just got back from checking the cop's and they are all working fine... I unplugged each one a listened for differences.. They all made the engine shake when unplugged, tells me they are all good.. The odd thing to me is that it gets real bad on drive.. The engine turns over and sounds good on idle but when accelerating it sputters like crazy and even more on drive.. I also notice that when shifting from reverse to drive i can feel the truck jump a lil... Not sure what that is but it didn't do it before..
This is by far the most stressful fix I have come across since owning this truck...
Again guys, thanks for your advises.. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it soon enough.. And I'm almost sure it's something petty....

How much Fuel is there in the gas tank ? I had a problem like yours .. I changed bunch of parts not taking the time to think first it ended up being bad gas ... I never got a check engine light on ... Good luck
So I got my codes today from a buddy of mine who has a computer..
He gave me all the codes that came up and told me it could just be one code reading bad causing something else to read bad.... He also said he's concerned about the transmission.. Most of the codes are transmission related and that worries me alot.. He said the water might of screwed my PCM and it might just be that... I decided to post them for you guys so you guys can see what im up against here... My question to you all is, What do you think? He kept getting a message to change fuse 23.. The fuse was good but it wasn't getting any current.. He bi-past it and it still read, "replace fuse 23"
P0743-Torque Converter Clutch System Electrical Failure
P0135-Upstream HO2S Heater Circuit Fault, Bank No. 1
P0155-Upstream HO2S Circuit Fault, Bank No. 2
P0443-EVAP Canister Purge Control Solenoid Or Valve Faulty
(Not sure if it was t0443 or p0443 but i didnt see any t's so Im guessing it's P0443)
P0755-Shift Solenoid No. 2 Circuit
P1747-Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid, Short Circuit
Hmmm...your PCM is NOT under the hood. It is up against the wall behind the parking brake. Is water getting in there?!
No but do you think multiple short circuits might of messed it up? Im sure the problem here was a mass electrical short circuit.. Im no technician but from the amount of water under the hood im guessing..
